The Aseer Vidyalaya Society was started on 6th of November 1996 in Thettiyode village near Kaliyakkavilai. Aseer Vidyalaya(1991) in Thettiyode and Assisi Vidyalaya (2000) in Chenamcode Village near Pachipparai are functioning under this Aseer Vidyalaya Society. Both these institution are working with the aim of rehabilitating differently- able students. 466 students have received training from these two institution. Among them, some are working in different organizations. 40 students have died, 17 students are married and 32 students are working as Engineer, Teachers, Army, Salesman, Singer and many other sectors. All of them get monthly maintenance grant and assistance from the the government. At present 106 students are undergoing training with these two institutions. Training method such as MDPS (Madras Developmental Programming System) is being followed. Vocational training is provided to the students above 18 years of age (Lotion, Dish washing oil, Soap powder, Washing powder, Washing soap, Bathing soap,Candle Making, Wreath and Bouquet, Tailoring etc). The remaining 19 staffs are paid from Sanjoe Province(FCC-Azhakiyamandapam). Both the institutions have separate school vehicles. These vehicles go to about 45 villages and bring students to the schools. We celebrated 2021 Silver Jubilee of Aseer Vidyalaya Society. " The foundation of Aseer Vidyalaya Society can be counted among the challenges.Merely conducting isolated programmes was found to me not much fruitful. The starting of Aseer Vidyalaya School in the year 1991 was really a great blessing to many disabled children. But to bring it under the umbrella of a Charitable society was found to be highly beneficial to the children, the families and to the entire society. Inspired by this thought I took the initiative to register Aseer Vidyalaya Society on 6, November 1996.The starting of the Society opened many avenues of development to the school. The Assisi Vidyalaya, Chenamcode started on 30, September 2000 is an extension of Aseer Vidyalaya under the Society. Though not actively involved at present, their still remain a well wisher and benefactor of the Aseer Vidyalaya Society. May God bless all the activities of the Society."
